Volunteer

We believe god has gifted everyone in the church, and we would love to help you connect those gifts with opportunites to serve. Here are a few places where we are currently seeking volunteers, but if you want to serve in a way that is not listed below please reach out and let us know.

We are currently seeking help for the following positions:

Coffee Fellowship

Every Sunday, coffee and snacks are served at 9:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Our coffee Fellowship has an opening once a month for someone to administer this service. If you would like to help out, please contact Cyndie Howard.

Manna of the Month

Throughout the month we collect various items for the Mooresville Christian Mission (baskets located in the Sanctuary, Fellowship Hall, Kitchen, and first floor of the Parker Building). Donating items (non-perishable foods, toiletries, diapers, dog food, etc.) is one way in which we are always seeking help. We are also looking for volunteers to help gather, inventory, and deliver these items to the Mission at the end of each month. If you would like to find out more, please contact Celi Jones on the Outreach Team. You can find out more about the Mission on our Local Missions page.

Nursery Coordinator & Volunteers

Do you love children and have you been waiting for an opportunity to share your gifts? The Nursery Team is looking for a volunteer Nursery Coordinator to start in February of 2020. The primary job of the Nursery Coordinator is to schedule caregivers for the nursery and to send out reminders. If you’re not feeling up to being a coordinator then perhaps you’d be interested in signing up as a regular volunteer. We’d love to have you! Please contact Amy Brotherton if you are interested.

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Matthew 19:14

Sanctuary Flowers

If you wish to serve the Lord by providing a flower arrangement in the sanctuary, please sign up on the Flower Board or contact Julie Coates.
*If every family commits to providing a flower arrangement just once Sunday a year we would have fresh flowers every week!

Shut-In Visit Team

Once a week, someone from the Shut-In Visit Team visits the homebound to deliver sermon media as well as to spread the good word. They have one opening on the second week of every month. If you are interested, please contact Evelyn Weatherman.
